Influences

Cramos’ songwriting journey began with Jay-Z’s release of The Blueprint 3. This album inspired her to start practicing writing bars and studying many talents in the Hip-Hop world. Over time, her rapping style became more refined, and today, shows heavy influences from MF Doom, Lauryn Hill, and Missy Elliott, with smaller influences from JID, Rapsody, and Andre 3000.

As she grew older, she decided to branch out into other genres, primarily in Latn music and in R&B. Her latin music is deeply rooted in childhood influences, with Daddy Yankee and Willie Colón serving as two major inspirations. Present day, she also influenced by sapphic stars Young Miko and Tokischa, as well as by Yailin La Mas Viral.

Her R&B influences are mostly rooted in the early 2000s and 90s, with Usher’s Confessions and 8701 albums serving as her primary influence from the 2000s, and Aaliyah self-titled album and One in a Million serving as the main inspiration from the 90s. She also draws inspiration from Monica, Jhené Aiko, Erykah Badu, and Jessie Reyez. Cramos’ multi-decade influence is apparent in in her R&B, and it’s clear she has a deep love for 90s R&B.
