2025 will mark her commercial debut, with monthly releases all year! Her first song, “I am Groot” is set to release on Jan 21st 2025.

Early Life

Her musical journey began early, By the age of 3, she was learning piano; by age 5, the violin. By 11, she’d taken up the viola and began songwriting and producing tracks on her dad’s iPad suing Garageband.

In high school, she was first chair in the school orchestra and chamber ensemble, and was a member of the choir. She also performed with the jazz band, pep band, and musical theatre. By 16, she’d been admitted to the most advanced youth orchestra in her region on both violin and viola.

Back in school, she started composing and arranging pieces for her orchestra, which inspired her to take on the quest of becoming a multi-instrumentalist. She taught herself cello, percussion, drums, bass guitar, and guitar on school instruments after classes were over, and began practicing the trumpet and alto sax as well. She then performed on many of these instruments at local events in her hometown in Florida. Needless to say, she’s always loved writing and performing music.

In 2019, she began studying at New York University for the bachelor’s program in Music Business. She has since stayed in the city and has become an active member of LGBTQ+ scene in Brooklyn.

Influences

Cramos draws inspiration from a rich spectrum of genres and artists.

Her songwriting journey was ignited by Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3. After hearing this album, she started to practice writing lyrics, dedicating time to study the craft through deep dives into discographies of hip-hop greats such as Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West, piecing apart their bars, cadence, and performance. Over time, her rapping style became more refined, and today, her rapping style reflects heavy influences from MF Doom, Kendrick Lamar, and Missy Elliott, with smaller influencces from Rakim, JID, Rapsody, and Andre 3000. She can be described as having the quirkiness of Doechii, the character voices of Kendrick Lamar, and the rhyming style of MF Doom.

Her latin music is deeply rooted in childhood influences, with Daddy Yankee serving as a major influence for her reggaeton. It’s also influenced by the newly popular Young Miko, with her unapologetic queerness and mellow cadence. She blends this cadence with with Daddy Yankee’s high-energy enunciated performances for an entertaining contrast. Likewise, for salsa, her biggest influences are Frankie Ruiz, Hector Lavoe, and La India, artists that evoke memories of her early childhood. As for Dembow, her largest influences are Tokischa, El Cherry Scom, and Yailin la Mas Viral.

Her R&B influences are mostly rooted in the early 2000s, with Usher’s Confessions album serving as the primary influence. She’s also influenced by Jessie Reyez, Bryson Tiller, SZA, and Aaliyah. Her cross-decade influence is apparent in the range of styles incorporated in her R&B, but it’s clear she has a deep love for 90s R&B, which is her personal soundtrack to her journey in romance.
